Project: N.E.S.T. | Robinson Nature Preserve
Location: Bradenton, FLPhotographing the NEST at Robinson Preserve was largely about showing how the architecture sits within the surrounding landscape. Designed by Houser Walker Architecture as a modern-day treehouse, the building is elevated into the existing canopy with views out to the wetlands and preserve beyond. Our photography focused on those connections, capturing the exterior from within the trees, the elevated walkways, observation tower, and interior spaces filled with natural light. Aerial photography was also important in showing the unique geometry of the building and its placement within the larger preserve.
