Project: St. Pete Pier
Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Photographing the St. Pete Pier meant capturing more than the architecture itself. As a major destination along St. Petersburg’s waterfront, the project is shaped just as much by the people visiting. This project was captured over multiple days and timeframes to capture its essence throughout the changing light and activity of the day. The images were captured from various vantage points: ground, boat, drone, and even helicopter - a memory from the job that will not be forgotten.

The shot list was based on a simple scope of needs from the commissioning clients and pure observation of the environment and people interacting with it. This project was featured in Architectural Record, the cover of Landscape Architecture, and multiple other national and regional publications. This is a special one we love to refer back to.
